The 24th LD is among the largest legislative districts in Washington, (almost 6,400 square miles) and it has, by far, the most coastline, as it includes northern Grays Harbor, the Pacific Coast, the Strait of Juan De Fuca, Admiralty Inlet, and part of Hood Canal. The crown jewel is Olympic National Park (1440 square miles).
The district includes all of Jefferson and Clallam counties and several Indian nations. In the redistricting of 2022, boundaries within Grays Harbor county were changed, adding the city of Montesano and the west portion of Aberdeen. At the same time, the eastern part of Grays Harbor county was assigned to the 19th LD.
