More About Us

The 24th LD is among the largest legislative district in Washington, with almost 6,400 square miles. It has, by far, the most coastline, including northern Grays Harbor, the Pacific Coast, the Strait of Juan De Fuca, Admiralty Inlet, and part of Hood Canal. The crown jewel is Olympic National Park (1440 square miles).

About 140,000 people live in our district: about 30,000 in Jefferson County; 77,000 in Clallam County; and about half the 73,000 people in Grays Harbor County. The southern half of Grays Harbor County is in the 19th LD.

The corners of the 24th LD are Neah Bay, Ocean Shores, Elma, and Port Townsend.
