There is no doubt this session was a tough one but after a long fight and three special sessions, we made important progress on critical issues facing our state. We fought for and secured $1.3 billion in new education funding – the largest additional investment ever. Over 48,000 children in Washington will benefit from access to quality early learning thanks to historic new levels of early learning funding. Public school teachers will also get the cost-of-living adjustment they desperately deserve.
Now is the time to act. Please join me on September 21st in Port Angeles to ensure we stay active in this fight.
